Health Benefits Of Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar is a well known substance in the world of natural medicine. Not only is it a common fixture in alternative remedies, but it has been used historically for a myriad of reasons, all of them with significantly documented success.
One of the main uses in recent years has been for GERD, or acid reflux. It is believed that taking two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar twice a day in 8 oz. of water, or on it’s own, helps to coat the esophagus and heal damage that has been done by acids surging back into the throat. It is also supposed to reduce the risk of future acid reflux.
It is also used for other medical ailments, such as chronic headaches, obesity, stomach ulcers, and just replenishing vitamins and minerals in a time when they are deficient. Many people use a few teaspoons a day in order to gain back their health after a long illness that has left them bedridden and unable to sleep, and studies have proven time and again that it works well in such cases.
While it may not be a sub substitute for medical attention, the positive benefits of apple cider vinegar cannot be denied.
