All Boots Aren’t Created Equal
People who own companies that sell cheap shoes will always try to make it seem as if there are no differences between their boots, and designer labels. But that just isn’t true. There are a number reasons why a Payless pair hiking boots are different than a pair of Ugg boots.
Just look at the quality of an Ugg Australia classic tall boot, compared to that of anything else that is bought cheaply in lower end shoe stores. Not only is the leather used of much superior quality, but the seams are beautiful, the soles are sturdy, and it is obvious that they have been made carefully, rather than bolted together in a factory.
Of course they are more expensive then what you might find at the local ShopMart, but they will last longer, look better, and feel better on your feet. It will save you money in the long run, as you spend a few hundred at an Ugg sale, rather than spending $30 five times a year for shoes that don’t look half as good.
Another reason for choosing the higher end footwear is that it is better for your feet, legs, ankles, and lower back. Cheaply made shoes are not built to form well to the normal human foot. The arches are usually too shallow, the heel too flat, and the toes straight. A properly made shoe will dip in more for the arch, cup the heel, and bend slightly at the toes, giving a curving effect to the shoe.
