Why I Love Designer Shoes The Most
I have my share of cheap shoes, and they are just as label brands. In fact, some of my favorite pairs cost me less than $20, about an eighth less than their designer counterparts that sit in my closet. But there is a reason that I would still say I love my designer shoes more, several, in fact.
First, they are much more comfortable. They may hurt at first, as I break in a new pair, but by the end of the second night I wear them they are endlessly more comfortable than my cheap pairs. That is because high quality footwear is made to fit the foot correctly. So, when you put on a pair of Louis Vuitton shoes, you are putting on a pair that not only hugs your feet, but corrects your posture.
Second, they are so much longer lasting. I have had my favorite pair of strappy Chanel shoes for five years now, and they look as good today as they did the first day I bought them. There isn’t a pair of cheap shoes that have lasted even half as long.
Third, it is the way I feel when I am wearing them. I have this gorgeous pair of Coach shoes that I hardly ever use, that just sit in my closet. You would think that I didn’t like them, but nothing could be further from the truth. They are my ’special occasion’ shoes, there to boost my confidence when I need it the most. And boy, do they!
